HR Jumpstart 

If your business has between 15-100 employees and you find yourself needing support in building a strong foundation of human resources, our program might be a great fit for you!

The ideal client should:

• understand the importance of HR as part of overall business success
• want to take a hands-on approach to HR
• be open to assessing HR gaps in your business
• NOT need to outsource your HR administrative tasks 

When you participate in our program you're allowing yourself to open up time to focus on what you do best in your business. You'll spend less time stressing over the sticky situations and reduce your anxiety knowing that you're preventing sticky situations before they happen.

When you make the investment to work with Expedition HR, you'll save money in the long run by eliminating the need to hire full-time, experienced HR professionals. You'll also save money by preventing lawsuits and other costly and time-consuming situations.

If you aren't sure if you should participate in the program, as yourself, "Can I afford NOT to have a strong HR foundation in my business?"

The business owner isn't the only person who can participate in the program. This program is great for the person or people who will be administering the human resources function within the business, such as:

• An entry-level or inexperienced HR employee or HR team who needs training in an existing HR department 
• Office/Admin staff who handle human resources administration 
• Managers, Directors, and CEOs sometimes participate in the Jumpstart in smaller organizations, along with whoever will be administering the human resources function

Up to 3 people per organization can participate. We can help you determine who makes sense to go through the program based on the size of your business. 

While everyone benefits from the HR support, we ask to dedicate 1-3 people within your organization as those who will have contact with us here at Expedition HR. For example, your HR Administrator, the CEO, and COO, for example. Or perhaps the HR Administrator, Office Manager, and Operations Director. The HR support is meant to be for guidance for HR administrators and executives, not as a help line for the employees in your organization to call.

We'll teach you how to navigate:

• Problems with employee performance and difficult conversations
• Lawsuits, including wrongful termination
• Harassment and discrimination claims
• Problematic relationships in the workplace
• ...and other sticky situations that may arise in your business 

The HR Jumpstart Investment is an initial payment of $5,000. This covers the initial 8-week foundational HR training portion of the program. This payment can be paid in full or in two (2) payments of $2,500.

Following the initial $5,000 payment, you will pay $1,250 every 3 months for your 12-month HR support period. The first payment will be due at the end of the 8-week training.

At the end of the initial 12 support months, you'll have an option to renew, every 3-months. (In fact, many of our clients continue support after the initial HR Jumpstart term!)

Ongoing support means that during the 14 months of the program, you'll receive all the HR support and guidance you need. During the initial 8-week training program, you will receive a 1-on-1 customized implementation session and weekly office hours. Throughout the HR Jumpstart, you will also get on-demand 24/7 access to a robust resource bank (called the Guiding HR Subscription), as well as Voxer "walkie talkie" app access anytime you need! You can think of the ongoing support as the individualized coaching piece of the program and is here for you whenever you have a question related to the training, about a sticky situation, or anything else!

Once you're signed up, we'll coordinate your initial payment, send you our Welcome Kit, and get you a schedule for the 8-week initial trainings. 

The HR Jumpstart is a group program - with a maximum of ten (10) businesses per Jumpstart session. The initial 8-week trainings are each in a group setting over Zoom and will be recorded. They last approximately 3 hours each. Each training focuses on one of the 8 foundational HR pillars, and allows time for Q&A. We ask that confidential questions are saved for 1-on-1 support time. Throughout those initial 8-weeks of training, you have the opportunity to ask confidential questions during office hours and/or during your customized implementation and support hour sessions. Once the initial 8-week trainings conclude, you will have HR support hours available to you to use whenever you need on a 1-on-1 basis over phone, email, video conference, and Voxer (Voxer is a confidential "walkie talkie" type of app for sending quick texts and voice messages).

We regularly see three outcomes from those who participate in the HR Jumpstart Program, as follows:
